A Summer Shindig is returning for 2026!
Think of a peaceful Peak District field, roaring camp fire and late night shenanigans, we’re taking it right back to where it all started by revisiting A Summer Shindig for 2026!
Event Overview:
Date: Friday 8th – Monday 11th July 2026
Nights: 3
Location: Just outside Sheffield in the Peak District, SK17 0DG
Accommodation:
A Summer Shindig takes place in the Peak District in a privately rented field, close to Sheffield. There are toilet facilities on the site, but no showers. Adventurers will bring their own tents to pitch near the camp fire, and there will be limited pre-pitched Bell Tents available to hire.
What To Expect:
As you arrive on Friday, expect a chilled atmosphere as we all settle into camp and pitch our tents. We’ll have some campfire games and songs in the evening, with the option to cook our own delights on the open fire(s).
The Saturday is a chilled affair, with board games, wild swimming, socializing, reading, relaxing and chilling out the order of the day. In the evening, we’ll all come together around the campfire for more socializing and games.
On Sunday, we do it all again, for another chilled out day. There will be more socializing by the fire all day, with culinary delights in the afternoon.
As with all events, they must come to an end, and Monday morning sees us say not goodbye, but “See you later!”. Check out is 10am, but the next event is never too far away…

- This is a “bring-your-own-tent” event. You’ll need to provide the home comforts you require for a comfy camping weekend.
- Toilet facilities are provided on site.
- There are no showers available.
